TIME: 5 to 7 minutes

This speech introduces the speaker to the basic concepts of organizing a speech around a speech outline.

Speech Objectives:

• Use voice volume, pitch, rate and quality to reflect and add meaning and interest to your message.

Vocal Variety guides the speaker to add life to their voice with variations in pitch, pace, power, and pauses.
